Shooting Bare
My mission to get suburban London to strip down and reveal its bare essentials is more than just taking naked bodies. It’s exposing the simplicity of life in its purest form. Working professionals, wealthy students and celebrities alike choose to move to a place such as Richmond for the prestige, the safety, the beauty and of course for the undeniable stigma that comes with living in a well off suburb that was once the residence of Royals. Photographing the people of Richmond in their birthday suits is a reminder that its not what they do, where they’re from or how much money they have that makes them interesting, prejudices are all swept aside to reveal who people are regardless of their status. And that true greatness is standing alone naked in a field, on the side of a road or by the river, raising your arms and declaring ‘this is me’.
